Prekule has been mentioned since 1511. According to the Peace of Melny with the Teutonic Order, the surroundings of Prekule (where many Lithuanians lived) went to the Order, and then to Prussia. Well, in 1923 Priekule left for Lithuania.
The town of Priekule is dominated by architecture characteristic of Pomerania, low-rise apartment buildings, and individual residential buildings. The city survived the 16th-19th centuries. an authentic and highly spontaneous planned structure.
Priekule Manor, railway station building complex, Evangelical Lutheran Church, St. Church of St. Anthony of Padua, etc.
